“Keep the home fires burning”

Connectors

To help us grow and build relationships with one another, you can connect with those in this Family/ online Community living near you through our Connectors. These are our willing volunteers who are happy to build relationships and be the first point of contact for many in this family. Please be aware that we may not know these Connectors and those we do know we cannot necessarily endorse. However all of them are asked to align to our values and to connect with us regularly.

Gatherings

Some Connectors may also host gatherings in their homes. These are gatherings of Culture Changers and NOT “Culture Changers Gatherings”. We are intentionally not building a Movement but are encouraged to keep the home fires burning. With love and mutual respect for one another, each community takes corporate responsibility for itself whilst being encouraged by others of their choice to whom they are accountable*. We call these friends Ambassadors.

Ambassadors

The men and women, to whom a gathering may choose to be accountable could be called Ambassadors. They understand that the local gatherings they visit are rightly taking decisions and responsibility for themselves. They have a heart to serve with no need for status or control (Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 4:15 and 1 Thessalonians 2:7-12). They could be seen as those who know the next step and have the ability to show others how to take it! They understand and appreciate that the main load of any teaching, prayer and pastoral care rests firmly on the shoulders of those in the gathering and not on them. When they visit they add strength and encouragement to the Family- and restraint if needed. (Acts 9:17-19; Acts 18:5; Acts 19:30). Each gathering chooses its own ambassadors of which Culture Changers may be unaware. In this way each family is protected; a flat network preserved; and biblical leadership and unity restored – as in Ephesians 2:11-12
